Thank you to all the volunteers, golfers, companies that donated prizes and sponsorships, Bojangles, Freeze Frame Photography, TCGC and Molly Corley & Camille Randolph. Yesterday the Middle School Boosters raised $12,000 to go towards keeping middle school sports in FM!!! We are well on our way to keeping sports for the entire 2010 school year!!

There is a $100 participation fee for each sport and band. For example: If your child plays football and baseball, they will pay $100 for each or $200 total. This fee will be collected by the coach at the beginning of the season and is required prior to the first game.

Will there still be a 7th and 8th grade team for many of the sports? If so or not, can 6th grade students that are capable (physically and mentally) participate?

I appreciate all the time and effort you and the other booster club members have put into this. I currently have a duel athlete at GHMS with two sons just a year away and want to do everything possible to maintain the excellent athletics we have. You have my full support and I will be available to assist in any aspect down the road.
